Tried an OS that I don't have listed?  Did it work?  Did it not?  Anything special about making it run?  Use this form to have it added.  Your name is optional. Please use the microsoft.public.virtualpc newsgroup to ask questions about OSes already listed. I have not used all of the over 800 listed OSes, so I can only direct you to that group for assistance.
Note about Longhorn: I will not be listing beta builds under NDA. Unless the build is legitimately available from a non-NDA source (i.e, MSDN/TechNet, a customer preview program, etc), or you are a Microsoft employee that has permission to discuss the builds, then it will not be listed.

This list is exclusive to Virtual PC 2004. Please do not submit OSes tested under any other version of Virtual PC, including VPC 2007.

Update: With the mainstream release of Virtual PC 2007, this Virtual PC 2004 compatibility list will be frozen to updates. Previously submitted additions and updates will be added to the list (my apologies for the delay), but no new updates will be accepted. I hope to have the Virtual PC 2007 edition of "What Works and What Doesn't" very soon. At that time, the new list will be available at http://vpc.visualwin.com, the current address of this site, and the Virtual PC 2004 edition will be available for historical purposes at http://vpc04.visualwin.com.
I thank everyone who has participated in this website. I hope the Virtual PC 2007 list will be equally useful!
