• Colin Barnhorst originally reported a hang at "scanning and configuring soundcard"
• Andras Bellak says the boot will eventually move past the sound card configuration, but once the system is loaded and boots into X, it uses a distorted font set under X. All apps seem to run correctly if launched from a terminal window.
