Knoppix 3.9 Notes

• Colin Barnhorst reported that Knoppix hangs with DHCP broadcasting for IP. Booting with "knoppix nodhcp depth=16" fixes this, but disables networking
• Peter Newell provided the following instructions for using networking with Knoppix:
  
  1. Boot Knoppix using "Knoppix nodhcp"
  2. Shell to the console and type "su root"
  3. Type "rmmod de4x5"
  4. Type "modprobe tulip"
  5. Edit the files knoppix and netcard in /etc/sysconfig replacing de4x5 with tulip
  6. Activate the card
