Solaris 10 Notes
- John Carney reported that it works, but the X display is corrupt
- Jake Roztocil suggests the following to fix the X display:
- Login to console as root as soon as the prompt is available.
- X (corrupt) will start to load and then will suspend.
- CD to /usr/X11/bin and run ./xorgconfig.
- Choose default options (inc. PS2 mouse, not MS) and choose the
generic S3 video card (option 22).
- No changes to screen size or bit depth necessary (I use 16k).
- Save this file to /etc/X11. It may be necessary to save in the
local dir then copy.
- Shutdown then halt and press any key to reboot.
